Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés consistant à provoquer une hyperaccumulation de métaux dans des pousses végétales par exposition à des agents inducteurs. Dans des modes de réalisation préférés, on exerce des manipulations augmentant la disponibilité de métaux pour la plante avant d'appliquer l'agent inducteur. Des agents inducteurs efficaces peuvent être des conditions de pH bas, des chélatants, des herbicides, ainsi que des niveaux élevés de métaux lourds. D'autres agents phytotoxiques sont également utiles. L'application d'agents d'activation multiples permet d'obtenir des effets synergiques.
