Abstract
L'appareil d'affichage d'un environnement virtuel sur un affichage vidéo, tel qu'un affichage (23) placé sur la tête, présente un processeur (11) de position destiné à générer un signal d'orientation visuel indiquant une orientation visuelle de l'affichage vidéo par rapport à l'environnement virtuel, ainsi qu'un générateur (20) d'images destiné à générer une série d'images constitutives de l'environnement virtuel pour l'orientation visuelle. Le générateur (20) d'images reçoit les signaux d'orientation visuelle. Tout changement dans le signal d'orientation visuel entre un temps auquel un signal d'orientation est utilisé par le générateur (20) d'images pour générer chaque image constitutive et un temps d'affichage de chaque image constitutive sur l'affichage vidéo (16), est détecté afin de produire un signal de décalage décalé. Un dispositif de décalage d'images décale l'image sur l'affichage (16) en réponse au signal de décalage décalé, de manière à améliorer l'affichage de l'environnement virtuel. On peut améliorer la vidéo couleur à séquences d'images ainsi que la vidéo à échelle de gris temporelle à l'aide de l'appareil, en plus d'autres systèmes vidéo avec un mouvement actif variable et un retard de transport difficiles à prédire.
