Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de fabrication, à partir d'une matière lignocellulosique, d'un produit à base de lignocellulose. Ledit procédé consiste à traiter la matière lignocellulosique et un polysaccharide phénolique avec un enzyme capable de catalyser l'oxydation de groupes phénoliques, en présence d'un agent oxydant. Les polysaccharides phénoliques convenant à ce procédé comprennent les amidons phénoliques et les amidons phénoliques cationiques dérivés des amidons provenant de sources telles que la pomme de terre, le maïs, le maïs cireux, le blé, le riz, le sorgho, le sorgho cireux, le potamot pectiné, l'arrow-root ou le tapioca.
