Abstract
Cette invention a trait à un procédé permettant le traitement thermique de matériau dans une chambre rotative, de forme conique (4), située dans un carter (1). Selon cette invention, un matériau, amené dans la chambre rotative (4) et expulsé de celle-ci du fait de sa forme conique y est renvoyé pour un autre traitement thermique et ce, sans quitter le carter (1). La mise en application de ce procédé, qui accroît le rendement thermique, permet en outre de prévenir l'usure des équipements nécessaires pour renvoyer le matériau à retraiter dans le carter (1). Cette invention porte également sur deux installations permettant de mettre le procédé en pratique.
