Abstract

The product is a new dual purpose product that combines in one a compact electric nose and ear hair trimmer with a manual razor for shaving facial hair. Therefore, combining these two functional aparatus in one compact portable and lightweight device negating the need to search for two seperate products.

Description

CA 02212~61 1997-09-22 SPECIFICATION: Trimmer/Shaver Submitted By: Bill Solomos The invention relates to personal grooming used mainly by males. The main design is based on existing nose hair trimming technology. It has an on/offswitch and uses a single "M" battery. The top of the trmmer has two sliding blades powered by an electric motor which trims nose and ear hair. In addition asecond functioning part (Top Piece) which is the actual shaver fits over the electric trimmer head and screws on threads into the trimmer allowing you to manually shave your face. The "top piece" shaver part will accept standard disposable twin blade razor cartridges. Please refer to diagram. The unit will be made out of plastic. The benefit of the unit is that it gives you immediate access to a shaver and nose hair trimmer saving frustration and time.

Claims (2)

  1. Claims:
    What is new about my proposed invention is:
    l) Snap on razor shaving head.
  2. 2) Unique adapter for merging 2 devices together to prevent movement between razor head and trimmer body.

    Reason for Special Order request advanced examination and early laid-open I have requested early examination for my invention because I fear someone else will possibly try to copy my invention. I have shown my invention to a company that was supposed to do the patent work on this invention and specifically an individual who worked for this company. I
    subsequently lost confidence in this company and we severed relations. My fear is that this individual and/or company might try to claim or sell this invention as their own, thus my claim for early examination.
    Please find enclosed the prescribed fee of $ 100.
