Abstract

Système pour obtenir le déplacement virtuel d'une caméra dans un support cinématographique dans lequel un réseau de caméras (10) est déployé le long d'une trajectoire présélectionnée, la mise au point de chaque caméra (10) ayant été faite sur une scène commune (12). Chaque caméra (10) est déclenchée simultanément pour enregistrer une image immobile de cette scène commune (12) et les images sont transférées des caméras (10) dans un ordre choisi à l'avance le long de la trajectoire sur une séquence d'images dans le support cinématographique, tel que film cinématographique (20) ou cassette vidéo. Chaque image montrant la scène commune (12) selon un point de vue différent, le fait de placer les images séquentiellement donne l'illusion qu'une caméra (10) s'est déplacée autour d'une scène figée (c'est-à-dire un déplacement virtuel de la caméra). Dans un autre mode de réalisation, un réseau bidimensionnel de caméras vidéo (1100) est utilisé. Chaque caméra (1102) capture une série d'images de manière synchrone en rapide succession dans le temps. Le réseau d'images obtenu peut être combiné dans n'importe quel ordre pour créer des films cinématographiques comprenant une combinaison de déplacements virtuels de la caméra et d'images séquentielles dans le temps.
