Abstract

An amino acid amide derivative represented by general formula (I), an agrohorticultural fungicide containing the derivative as the active ingredient, and a fungicidal method using the fungicide against destructive fungi. In formula (I), R1 represents C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl or phenyl;
R2 represents hydrogen or methyl; X represents halogen, methyl or methoxy; Y
represents C1-C6 alkyl; A represents oxygen or sulfur; and n represents an integer of 0, 1 to 3. The derivative has a potent control effect against disease damages, particularly plague and downy mildew.
