Abstract

Cette invention concerne de mengovirus de recombinaison atténués qui expriment une séquence d'acides aminés hétérologue. Les mengovirus de recombinaison peuvent exprimer des séquences d'acides aminés comprenant des déterminants antigéniques de divers pathogènes viraux et sont utiles comme vaccins vivants contre ces pathogènes chez l'homme et l'animal. Par conséquent cette invention concerne également des vaccins renfermant ces mengovirus de recombinaison ou des protéines de ces derniers, des cellules infectées par les mengovirus de recombinaison, l'acide nucléique dérivé de ces mengovirus de recombinaison et des procédés permettant d'induire une réponse immunitaire. Cette invention concerne plus particulièrement un mengovirus de recombinaison comprenant les acides aminés 299-466 de gp120 de l'isolat MN du VIH-I.
