Abstract
Abstract Word assembling set for transmitting messages wherein pre-ferably words are assemblable out of single letters wherein each letter comprises at least one fastening element at the backside thereof with the letter attachable at a flat base by means of the fastening element.
Alternatively each letter consists of two parts which are placeable onto each other with a common contour wherein each part comprises at least one fastening element at the inner side with both parts comprising a denticulation and wherein both parts are connected by a spring element.
Alternatively each letter consists of two parts which are placeable onto each other with a common contour wherein each part comprises at least one fastening element at the inner side with both parts comprising a denticulation and wherein both parts are connected by a spring element.
Description
` -~ 2~34897 Word Assembling Se-t Technical Field This invention relates -to an word assembling set for trans-mitting greetings, congratula-tions, and messages of all kinds according to the preample of patent claim 1.
Back~round=of,,the inven~io~
Such an word assembling set is known from DE-GM 76 15 173.
It is a disadvantage of the known word assembling set, that the single letters, symbols and figures stick to a smooth material only because of the electrostatic adhesion thereof and are easily displaceable. Therefore disadvantageously the danger exists, that during the transmission the assembled words are changed and become unreadable.
It is known from practical experience, that greetings, con-gratulations and other messages are transmitted by greeting cards or gratulatory cards.
There is an enormous variety of such cards, however, it still is a printed piece of paper which presets the frame and leaves only a very limited possibility to gain a personal touch by e. g. adding a few lines in writing.
In order to fulfil a high variety of re~uirements a large stock of assorted cards must be kept which leads to a large storage capacity.
However, it is not economical to market the respective card for all possible events as high numbers of each edition are re-quired to achieve low costs.
Furthermore printed cards are restricted to the correspon-di~ Ianguage area.
It is the ob.ject of the present invention to further de-velop a generic word assemblin0 set such, that the letters, symbols, and figures are indisplaceably attachable, and that therein the freedom of design of the preferably used banners is not impaired.
21 3~897 Summary of the invention The object is attained by a generic word assembling set with the characterizing Eeatures o~ claim 1 or al-ternately with the characterizing features of claim 7.
Therein, that each letter and/or each symbol and/or each figure comprises at leas-t one fastening element at the side fa-cing a preerably Elat ~ase, and that the letter and/or the sym-bol and/or the figure is attachable at the preferably flat base, and that the letter and/or the symbol and/or the figure is attachable at the preferably flat base by means of the fastenincJ
element the advantage is achieved, that with a single word assembling se-t the appropriate motto or greeting for 0ach event ma~ be assembled, that the appropriate combination for each event may be held in stock with little room requirement, that by the imagination of each individual congratulations and greetings may be designed on a personal basis in an almost endless plurality having also the ~uality of a gift, that the word assembling set may be used in almost any country with only few types, that the letters, symbols, and figures may be repeate~ly re-arranged when creating the motto to appreciate the effect, and that the adressee of the greeting may rëuse the letters, symbols, and figures for a new event as they are detachably attached.
The letter, figure of symbol is preferably stamped as to the contour thereof and attached, e. y. ~lued to a suitable material.
Preferably the fastening element is a fastening hook.
In an embodiment two fastening hooks are secured at the backside of a letter, symbol, or figure at the upper and lower edge thereof at an axis extending approximately through the center of gravity. With asymmetric letters etc. the arrangement of the fastening hooks in relation to the center of gravity must be chosen such, that a vertical hanging is possible. Thereby it is assured, that the letter etc. hangs in a vertical position.
213~97 . .
Preferably it is provided, that the preferably flat base is a preferably woven decorative ribbon.
By the use of decorative ribbons the letters etc. may be arranged in e. g. vertical or horizontal words or sentences, in a word assembling set according to claim 1 this is attained by simply stitching the fastening hooks into the commonly woven structure of the ribbons.
By the flat form of the ribbon a twisting of an e. g. ver-tical sentence is significantly hindered as compared with a round form of e. g. a rope.
The same advantages are attained in, that each letter and/or figure and/or symbol consists oE two parts which prefera-bly are placeable onto ~ach other with a common contour, that one of the two parts at the inner side thereof (in the assembled state) comprises at least one fastening element, that each of the two parts comprises a denticulation at about opposing areas of the inner side, and that the two parts are connected by a spring element such, that the spring force compresses the two parts wherein the fastening element preferably is a fastening hook.
By means of the denticulation this embodiment advantageous~
ly enables the fastening of small gifts like a rose or a bank-note. The arrangement of the spring element, the denticulation or the fastening hooks depend on the shape of the respective letter when stamped l~tters are used.
