Abstract

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE

In a razor with a handle-like lather container and detachable cap that covers and can be moved relative to a lather discharge valve of the lather container, which valve is enclosed by a linking ring, at least two projecting catches are devised as guide pieces in the cap approximately radially opposite each other on either side of a central pin, and can each be sunk into a corresponding slot in the linking ring, each slot being separated from a guide surface of the linking ring by a bead. Each slot can be flanked by two beads, which are adjoined by a wedge-shaped, upwardly inclined surface.

Claims (15)

1. A razor device, in particular a disposable razor, having a handle-like foam container and a cap which is releasable therefrom and which is formed by means of a neck on a blade head and which covers over a foam outlet valve, which is surrounded by a sliding guide ring, of the foam container, and is mounted movably relative to same into a foam position, wherein associated with a valve tube of the outlet valve of the foam container is a passage in a central projection of the cap, which communicates with a mouth opening provided at the back face of the cap or the neck, characterised in that disposed in the cap (22) is an insert (62) with an axial flow passage (61) and a central projection (64) which is near the container and through which the axial flow passage passes, wherein the insert has an outer annular edge (65) from which two retaining noses (66) project in parallel relationship with the axis, which retaining noses can be lowered into slots (72) in the sliding guide ring (70) and thus into the foam position.
2. A device as set forth in claim 1 characterised in that the surface (71) of the sliding guide ring (70) defines a transportation position of the retaining noses (66) and a respective shoulder surface (73) between said ring surface and said slot (72) defines a readiness position.
3. A razor device, in particular a disposable razor, having a handle-like foam container and a cap which is releasable therefrom and which is formed by means of a neck on a blade head and which covers over a foam outlet valve, which is surrounded by a sliding guide ring, of the foam container, and is mounted movably relative to same into a foam position, wherein associated with a valve tube of the outlet valve of the container is a passage in a central projection of the cap, which communicates with a mouth opening provided at the back face of the cap or the neck, characterised in that in the cap (22) at least two retaining noses (50, 50a, 50b) are disposed as guide portions on both sides of the central projection (42) in approximately radially oppositely disposed relationship and can each be lowered into a respective slot (72) in the guide ring (70), wherein each slot (72) is separated by means of a radial bead (74) from the guide surface (68) of the guide ring (70).
4. A razor device, in particular a disposable razor, having a handle-like foam container and a cap which is releasable therefrom and which is formed by means of a neck on a blade head and which covers over a foam outlet valve, which is surrounded by a sliding guide ring, of the foam container and is movable relative thereto from a readiness position into a foam position, wherein associated with a valve tube of said outlet valve is a passage disposed in a central projection of the cap which communicates with a mouth opening provided at the back face of the cap or the neck, characterised in that in the cap (22b) at least two retaining noses (56) are disposed as guide portions on both sides of the central 1 projection (42) in approximately radially oppositely disposed relationship, which retaining noses project peg-like at a spacing (f) relative to the inside surface (41) of the cap from radial flap portions (54) formed thereon, in parallel relationship with the axis, and can each be lowered into a respective recess (60) in the guide ring (70b), the recesses being of corresponding cross-section and being closed towards the edge, wherein associated with each recess (60) at one radial side is an abutment limb (74b) which sticks up from the surface (78b) of the guide ring, wherein in front of same the retaining noses (56) can be lowered into the recesses (60) to produce the foam position.
5. A device as set forth in claim 4 d characterised in that two retaining noses (56) lie on a common diameter (D).
6. A device as set forth in claim 3 characterised in that two retaining noses (50, 50a; 50b) are disposed on a common diameter (D).
7. A device as set forth in claim 3 or claim 6 characterised in that the guide surfaces (68) for each retaining nose (50, 50a, 50b) are provided with a retaining slot (84) for fixing the retaining nose in a shaving position.
8. A device as set forth in claim 3 or claim 7 characterised in that the retaining slot (84) is delimited by a threshold means (82) which is formed out of the guide surface (68), and a step front face (76).
9. A device as set forth in claim 3 or claim 6 characterised in that two radial beads (74) flank the slot (72) and at least one taper face (69) with an inclined surface extends from one bead of the one slot to one bead of the other slot, wherein possibly an upwardly inclined taper face (69) extends from each of the two beads (74) and both taper faces form a radial crest line (92) and/or a plurality of crest lines are disposed on a common diameter (B).
10. A device as set forth in at least one of claims 3 or 6 through 9 characterised in that the retaining noses (50, 50a, 50b) are reduced in cross-section towards their free edges (51).
11. A device as set forth in one of claims 3 through 10 characterised in that the height of the bead (74) and/or the threshold means (82) corresponds to the spacing (n) of the guide surface (68) from the ring surface (78).
12. A device as set forth in one of claims 1 through 11 characterised by a ratio of the spacing (n, b) of the guide surface (68) or the shoulder surface (73) from the surface (78) of the ring (70) to the spacing (m) thereof to the lowest point of the slot (72) of 1:5 and/or by a ratio of the arcuate length of the guide surface (68) to the arcuate length of the ring surface (78) disposed in front thereof of 1:1 or 4:1.

A device as set forth in claim 4 or claim 5 characterised in that an annular radial rib (64) projects beyond the peripheral surface of the guide ring (70b), the diameter of the annular radial rib corresponding approximately to the inside diameter (dl) of the upper cap portion which has the radial flap portions (54) and which is separated by a retaining rib (52) that projects towards the axis, from a sleeve-shaped lower cap portion of larger diameter (d), wherein possibly the height (sl) of the radial rib (64) approximately corresponds to a fifth of the height (m) of the ring (70b).

A device as set forth in claim 4 or claim 13 characterised in that the height (s) of the abutment limb (74b) approximately corresponds to the height (sl) of the radial rib (64), wherein possibly the abutment limb (74b) and/or the knob (75) are/is displaced parallel by half the width (p) of the recesses (60) out of their common diameter (E).
15. A device as set forth in claim 4 or claim 14 characterised in that at least one knob (75) disposed opposite the abutment limb (74b) on the other longitudinal side of the recess (60) wherein possibly the abutment limb (74b) and/or the knob (75) are/is displaced parallel by half the width (p) of the recesses (60) out of their common diameter (E).
