Abstract

A double acting simplex plunger pump comprising a pair of unique unitary combined stuffing box (38) and head members (32) pre-assembled with a double ended plunger (70), the subassembly being sandwiched between the axial end face (22) of a drive motor (20) and a flat surface of a unitary manifold means (50) and further characterized by means including check valve means (66) for aligning and holding the members.
