Abstract
ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE
Described is an electrical house wiring cable, particularly for complete building installations and installation networks used for electric power supply and its control as well as transmission of messages, data and information. The object of the invention is to device a house wiring cable which can be easily installed and which simultaneously provides for the supply of power and can be used for transmitting messages, data and information. This is accomplished using two main strands which are joined by means of a continuous and separable flat webbed connection.
This flat webbed connection has a notch running the full length of the cable on both sides and serving to facilitate separation and to locate nailing points when the cable is to be nailed into place. The particular outer shaping of the sheaths of the main strand affords the advantage that the flat webbed connection runs approximately parallel to the contact surface of the cable, thus facilitating the mounting of the cable.

Claims (3)
1. The electrical wiring of a tie line, especially with respect to the complete electrical installation of buildings and of networks for power supply and the control thereof, as well as for the transmission of messages, data and information, is characterized by two main harnesses (11, 12), one of which supplies high-voltage current (power) and the other is used for communication purposes (low-voltage current, data, information, etc.). The two main harnesses (11,12) are interconnected by way of a continuous, invariably interruptable ribbon-cable connection (13), The ribbon-cable connection has a double-sided notch (14) extending along it entire length for the purpose of a possible separation and for aiming a nail when nailing. The width of the ribbon-cable connection is such that a defined distance is kept between the two main harnesses and that damage to the main harnesses is prevented when mailing.
2. The electrical wiring of a tie line as set forth in Claim 1 is characterized by the fact that the insulating sheathing (15), which is wrapped around each of the main harnesses (11,12), is shaped in such a way that the ribbon-cable connection (13) runs approximately parallel to the supporting surface of the tie line.
3. The electrical wiring of the tie line as set forth in Claim 2 is characterized by the fact that the sheathings (15) and the ribbon-cable connection (13) are designed in one piece.
