Abstract

A multicoloured patterned floor covering consists of a web which has a first colour and of granules which are coloured differently from the web and are embedded in the web with essentially uniform distribution, at least in the region of the top side, the web and the granules consisting of crosslinkable elastomers, the granules comprising at least two fractions of particles which are coloured differently from one another and from the web and the amount and colour of the fractions being chosen such that the mixed colour, resulting from a homogeneous thorough mixing of all components contained in the floor covering, and the first colour essentially correspond. A method for the manufacture is specified.
