Abstract
'Show It' Chart Paper Abstract Pads of chart paper are ordinarily glued together by means of a layer of adhesive material at the top of the sheets. Once detached from the pad, the sheets cannot be returned to the pad or placed on a vertical surface without applying additional adhesives or masking tape. Subsequent removal from the walls often results in the paper being torn, or the walls being damaged or left with adhesive on them.
In this invention, a pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to the back of each sheet on the top 10 cm. Sheets can be removed from the pad and placed on any flat wall surface. The sheets can be easily removed from the wall without damaging the wall or leaving any adhesive behind. In addition, sheets can then be placed on top of one another for future use or returned to the pad.

Description
Specification ~101022 1. This invention relates to a repeatedly usable pressure sensitive chart paper.
2.1t is common for chart paper to be sold in pads that have a layer of adhesive on the top edge of each sheet. Once removed, the sheets are adhesive free. They can only be hung using some other type of adhesive or fastening device.
Many users of chart paper try to remove the sheets and place them on walls or other v0rtical surfaces for display. Users find that the sheets sometimes rip in an attempt to remove them from the pad. Before they can be displayed, an alternate adhesive must be utilized, usually masking tape.
Masking tape is difficult to remove from both the paper and the wall. Old chart paper is unsatisfactory because when used with masking tape it is difficult to remove from future display or re-use. It often removes both paint and wallboard surface.
.
page 1 ' 2~022 3. I have found thal these disadvantages may be overcome by placing a 10cm strip of inherently tacky material on the top of each sheet. The sheets are stacked one on top of the other to produce a pad.
The reusable pressure sensitive adhesive makes it easy to remove each sheet from the pad. Then the sheets can be easily placed on any smooth vertical or horizontal surface. Sheets can be removed without damaging either the paper or the surface. None of the adhesive sticks to the surface. Sheets can be re-stacked one on top of the other to be stored.
re-used, or re-displayed on another occasion.

Claims (3)
1. A chart pad sheet approximately 60 cm. x 90 cm., or larger with or without two holes punched in the top approximately 45 cm. apart. It has a reusable pressure sensitive adhesive material applied to a 10 cm. to 20 cm. strip on the top of the back.
2. A chart pad sheet as defined in claim 1, in which the adhesive is a binder material whose exposed surface has inherently tacky elastometric co-polymer microspheres protruding from it.
3. A chart pad sheet as defined in claim 1 or 2 in which the adhesive is applied in such a manner as to have strong bonding capabilities and yet be non-permanent, and repeatedly re-usable.
