Abstract

An automatic filter cleaning system comprises: filter for removing wax from a wax mix slurry to provide a filtrate.
The operational status of the filter is affected by a status means that is connected thereto. A control means connected to the status means, to a filter drain and to a filter cleaning means automatically changes the status of the filter from an operational state to a down state, to drain and clean the filter while in the down state.
