Abstract

An induction synchronous motor comprises: a unitary rotor having a first and a second rotor core; a first and a second stator mounted surroundingly facing the first and the second rotor core; a voltage phase shifting means for producing a first and a second phase difference; a static magnetic field around each of the first and second rotor cores; and a rotor magnetizing means having diodes for rectifying alternating voltages and for having the resultant direct current produce magnetic poles in the first and second rotor cores. The motor initiates its operation as an induction motor based on the first phase difference produced by the voltage phase shifting means. The first phase difference is shifted to the second phase difference produced by the phase shifting means, and the first and second rotor cores produce magnetic poles which are attracted by the rotating magnetic field produced by the first and second stators, resulting in the synchronous operation of the motor.
