Abstract
La zone souterraine et la zone voisine sont par exemple l'une un gisement pétrolifère et l'autre une nappe aquifère sous-jacente à une pression supérieure à celle régnant dans cette zone. La méthode consiste essentiellement à percer au moins un drain dévié (horizontal ou presque, de préférence) traversant la zone pétrolifère, la zone voisine et la couche intermédiaire qui est par exemple une zone rendue peu perméable en raison de la présence de produits hydrocarbonés lourds et visqueux. Le drain est équipé d'une conduite percée d'orifices au niveau des deux zones et de blocs d'obturation. L'ouverture différée du bloc en cours de production, permet d'injecter de l'eau sous pression dans la zone pétrolifère et de mieux drainer la formation. Application à l'exploitation des gisements pétroliers par exemple.
