Abstract
STRUCTURE OF MULTIPURPOSE HAND-CART
ABSTRACT:
A hand-cart , having a body comprised of a front wheel frame, a pair of rear wheel frames, a pair of handlebar stems with handlebars, a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels. The rear wheel frames are connected to the front wheel frame by two foldable connections so that the hand-cart can be collapsed to minimize space occupation when not in use. A seat is transversely mounted on the front frame at the top. A tray and a basket are detachably attached to the wheel chair at suitable locations for keeping somethings. A pair of brake control levers are attached to the handlebars and a hand brake is secured to the front wheel frame to respectively control the running of the rear wheels.

Description
2025~7 STRUCTURE OF MULTIPURPOSE HAND-CART
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention is related to multipurpose hand-cart and more particularly to a hand-cart for the lame , convalescents, etc., which has a seat to sit, a brake mechanism to stop its motion, and a basket to hold somethings. `
~; Conventionally a wheel chair which is used as a support in ualking by the lame, convalescents, etc., is generally comprised of a tubular frame on uheels. This , .
~ type of wheel chair can onlY be used to help the lame, m-~ ~ 10 convalescents to ualk. Actually it is not satisfactorY inuse to the invalid people. During one's dailY life or while going outside, an invalid people may have to carry uith oneself drugs, Personal effects or a lot of some other products. A conventional Nheel chair does not have a structure for keePing somethings. Further, uhile one gets tired during walking,,alconventional wheel chair can not be `; used as a standing chair to sit. It is indeed verY
~s~ ; important to thoroughly consider the factors of safety, .
"
~ 2~2~37 stability, simplicity and convenience while designing an equipment for the lame or convalescents.
SUllMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention has been accomplished under S the circumstances in view. It is one obiect of the present invention to provide a wheel chair which is foldable to minimize space occuPation when not in use. It is another object of the present invention to provide a uheel chair which is stable and safe in use. It is still -another object of the present invention to provide a Nheel chair which has a brake mechanism to stop its motion, and a ., . ~ .
structure for holding things. It is a yet further object of the present invention to provide a wheel chair which can be alternatively adjustsd according to reguirenents.

Referring to Fig. 2, when ths tuo foldable connections 21 are folded up, the cross bar of the tao rear frames 14 is moved upward within the fixed frame 23 permitting the two rear fraues 14 to respectively nove toaard the front frame 13. Therefore, the hand-cart can be conveniently folded into a collapsed condition as shown in Fig. 2, so as to ~inimize space occupation.
Inside the U-shaped wheel holders 25 of the two rear fra~es 14, there is fastened a brake caliper asseJbly ~ 10 each and respectively connected by a cable through the rear -~ fra3es 14 to the hand brake 18 which is sounted on the front frame 13 at a suitable position, and the two brake control , ~
levers 17 which are respectively secured to the tao handlebars 11. While steering, the tao rear whesls 16 can be stopped by pulling uP the two brake control levers 17.
When the hand brake 18 is pulled to a braking position, the wheel chair beco-es constantly stopped so that it can be used ~;~ as a standing chair and an user can sit on the seat 26 as shoan in Fig.,~
