This game consists of forming words or compound words in English or other languages. The prime objective of the game is good spelling and is specially designed for schools to motivate the study of languages. It is called BABEL'S TOWER.

Description
SPECIFICATIONS
A playing board, 3 bags with 28 letters from A to Z and 3 wild car in each bag, a cutout of Babels Tower, a sand clock, a dice and 4 counters. Note wild cards can be any letter.
Instructions The game can be played with up to 4 people or self only. Any language can be used by individuals provided this is stated before the game starts. Players may be required to prove the spelling of a word by use of a dictionary or otherwise. For words not proven there is a penalty loss of 2 points, mi-spelled words a l polnt loss. Street names,law or medical terminologies must be proven.
It is agreed at the begining of the game by all players as to the number of letters to be selected, eg 1, 2, or 3, to form a word., the score being the number of words formed.
The dice is thrown to select the first player. When selected the first player takes the number of letters previously decided upon, for example 1 from the first bag and 1 from the second, and form as many words as possible within 1 minute.
Example ~f 3 letters selected being V. N. R. could form word such as v1sionarY vinegar, volunteer, v1nyard, vulcanizer. Note letter selected~must ~e~use~ ln sequentiar order dF selection. Random ora of letters must be agreed upon at the start of the game.
There is a score of 1 po1nt per word. Personal names cannot be used due to var1at10ns 1n spell1ng. (there are no ortographic rule for them).
In schools to assess the progress of students learning of the lanc i~
the names of the students are placed at the base of the cardboard -~
tower, the student w1th the highest score moves up one level, the ob~ective be1ng to reach the top.

Claims (4)
1) A game comprising a board game, 3 bags with letters of the alphabet and 3 wild cardsin each bag, a sand clock, one dice and 4 counters.
2) A game as defined in claim 1, in which the objective is to words in the English or other languages.
3) A game as claimed in claim 2 that has the objective of motivating the study of languages.
4) A game as defined in 1, 2, or 3 which is specially designed for schools although can be used for general entertainment.
