Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a motor scooter as shown in the representations; the motor scooter presents a step-through frame formed from a chevron-shaped in side view front structure, the front structure presents a lower downwards and rearwards extending leg shield area the front surface of which is curved rearwards from side to side, the leg shield area merges through a downwards and rearwards curved portion into a generally symmetrical floorboard area which presents a central raised portion which widens from front to rear and has a generally flat upper surface; the floorboard area merges smoothly through a curved portion into an upwards and forwards extending cantilever-like projecting portion of the rear housing area; both sides of the projecting portion adjacent the upper end thereof present generally identical aligned recessed circular areas therein; each circular area presents outwardly flared side surfaces and a cap-like element at the bottom; the motor scooter also presents a saddle area situated at the upper end of the cantilever-like projecting portion; the saddle area presents a cantilever-like seat which extends rearwards above the rear housing; the lower forward portion of the rear housing flares outwards on either side of the rear wheel and presents a curved front surface with shallow spaced apart generally parallel recessed areas therein; the generally symmetrical rear housing also presents a recessed outer surface having an aerofoil-like shape in side view; the rear end of the recessed aerofoil-like shaped outer surface presents spaced apart shallow generally parallel recessed areas therein.
