Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the ballpoint pen as shown in the drawings; the ballpoint pen in the retracted position presents a barrel section having a transparent outer surface, a transparent generally cylindrical push button portion, a transparent clip portion adjacent the push button portion, and a truncated conical left end portion; the conical left end portion merges into a larger barrel section; the transparent outer surface of the larger barrel section is situated over a generally cylindrical inner surface and increases in thickness from left to right; a left portion of the larger barrel section presents a series of spaced apart wavy lines extending circumferentially around the left portion of the larger barrel section; the larger barrel section merges through a bullet-shaped transition section into a generally cylindrical smaller barrel section which presents an axially extending slightly raised arrow-like area close to the end of the clip portion. In the in use position of the ballpoint pen, the push button portion is shorter than in the retracted position.
