Abstract
ABSTRACT
There is disclosed a switch truck for an enclosed electrical switchgear panel. The switch truck (1) comprises a truck base (3) which is provided with wheels (2) and which supports a front plate (4): The front plate (4) is joined to a side wall (6) which extends up from the truck base (3). The side wall (6) is the only support of a vacuum contactor (7), of a number of fuses (8) and of a control transformer (9). The poles (7a, 7b, and 7c) of the vacuum contactor lie closest to the truck base (3), one above another. Then follows the control transformer (9). The fuses (8) lie one above another above the control transformer (9). By means of the arrangement provided, the switch truck (1) can be made particularly narrow.

Description
Switch Truck ior an Enclo~e~ Electrical Switchqear Panel The invention relates to a switch truck for an enclosed electrical switchyear panel.
In particular, the invention relates to a switch truck for an enclosed electrical switchgear panel includiny, a) a truck base which is provided with wheels and supports a front plate, b) behind the front plate and above the truck base, a multi-pole vacuum contactor, at least one high-voltage high-breaking-capac1ty fuse to each pole of the vacuum contactor and a control transformer for the coils of the armature of the vacuum contactor, and contact members, for making connections with the poles of the vacuum contactor and the fuses, projecting out of the rear of the truck, a switch truck of this type is already known from Siemens, metallgekapselte Schuetz-Wagenanlagen 8BD2 to 7.2 KV, June 1980 Supplement to Catalogue HA 22. The switch truck comprises two opposite side walls parallel to one another and is open at the rear. The side walls are recessed in places for acces~ to the 20 equipment installed between them and they both support the installed equipment.
The object of the inven~ion is to make the switch truck for an enclosed electrical switchgear panel of the kind mentioned above particularly narrow and easier to assemble and to maintain.
In accordance with the invention, the said object is achieved by the construction characterized by:

d) a side wall ex~ending upwardly from the truck base and joined to the front plate, e) the side wall being the only support for the vacuum contactor, the fuses and the transformer, f) the poles of the vaauum contactor lyiny closest to the truck base, one above another, g) the control transformer being disposed above the uppermost pole of the vacuum contactor and the fuæes being disposed above the control transformer and h) there being no side wall opposite the mentioned side wall.
By the use of only one side wall and the use of this side wall as the only support for the installed equipment, the switch truck according to the invention can be made particularly narrow. The absence of a second side wall permits unhindered access to the equipment installed in the switch truck. The installed equipment can be arranged so that it can be particulary clearly seen and can be mounted on the side wall before the latter is connected to the other parts of the switch truck.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below and is purely diagrammatically illustrated in perspective in the drawing.
In the drawing, a switch truck of an elec~rical switchgear panel (not shown~ i~ denoted by 1, the truck having wheels 2 mounted on truck base 3, on which a front plate 4 is mounted. The front plate 4 is connected along its right-hand vertical edge S to an adjoining vertical edge 6a of a side wall 6, ;~ . . .

-which extends up from the right-hand side of the truck base 3.
The side wall 6 is the only support for a vaeuum contactor with poles 7a, 7b and 7c. The side wall 6 is also the only support for high-voltage high-breaking-capacity fuses 8 and for a control transformer 9 for the coils of the armature of the vacuum contactor 7.
The poles 7a, 7b, and 7c of the vacuum contactor 7 lie closest to the truck base 3, i.e. closer to it than are the parts ~ and 9, and are disposed one above another.
Situated above the uppermost pole 7a of the vacuum contactor 7 is the control transformer 9. The fuses 8 lie above the control transformer 9, the fuses for the different phases lying one above another. They slope upwardly in the run-in direction of the switch truck 1.
It is also possible to provide two fuses 8 to each phase. These would have to be disposed parallel to one another and in juxtaposition to one another.
The individual poles 7a, 7b, and 7c of the vacuum contactor 7 are provided with contact members 10 in the conventional manner. The fuses 8 carry lead-in contact members 11 .
In the example described above the side wall 6 and the front plate 4 are initially separate pieces, the adjoining vertical edges of which have been connected together. Instead of this, the side wall 6 and the front plate 4 could be joined together by virtue of the fact that they are formed by a single piece of sheet-~orm material which has been bent to provide two ,~
