T~ANSPRINTING-TYPE ERROR CORREC'I'ION TAPE
BACKGROUND OF T~IE INVENTION
Field of the Inventioll The present invention relates to a novel transprinting-type error correction tape. More particularly, the present invention relates to an improvement of a transprinting-type error correction tape comprising a novel structure for deleting errors by placing, for example, a white film coated on one side of a base tape to an error part of a documen-t, then rubbing a base tape to coat by transprinting a film onto an error part of a document from a base tape.
Prior Art There is a transprinting-type error correction sheet by prior art comprising a film coated on a sheet base.
~lowever, this is a simple type with a film coated on a whole base sheet of a certain size or with plenty of films of certain sizes and shapes arranged on a base sheet. The film of such sheet-like transprinting-type error correction sheet with entirely coated film is hardly transprinted and sticks exactly to the portion to be deleted, therefore this is wasteful.
In addition, the sheet with films of certain sizes and shapes has two types, i.e., a sheet with same-sized and -shaped films coated and the one with films of different sizes and shapes.
However, the used ~uantity is different depending on film sizes and shapes. Accordingly, plenty of sheets with different combinations should be manufactured. Furthermore, it is so wasteful that a sheet with unused films remaining goes to a dust bin, then it is necessary to store as many types as possible employable to a variety of parts to be deleted.
SUMMA~Y OF THE INVENTION
It is an object of the present invention to provide a transprinting-type error correc~ion tape where a belt-like film which is narrower than a base tape is employed in transprintable status at a center of one side of the base tape.
It is convenient to have suitable graduations at either one or both unfilmed margins on both sides of a base tape.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF T~IE DRAWINGS

Fig. 3 is a partial plane view of a transprinting-type error correction tape which is different from the one shown in Fig. 1.
DET~ILED DESCRIPTION AND THE PREFERRED
EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
The following is a detailed description of the present invention referring to figures. However, the present invention is not defined by this.
In the figures, 1 is a base tape made of polypropylene. A white film 2 is employed on one side of the said base tape. This film 2 is provided with 3 layers, i.e., introducing from the base tape side, a layer of pigment, titanium oxide and inorganic material, a layer of pigment and titanium oxide and a layer of pressuresensitive adhesive.
Characters, etc. can be writ-ten on the film 2 after transprinting and coating.
The conventional base tapes and films are employable.
It is desirable to have transparent or semi-transparent base tapes. The film color need not be always white. You can select a variety oE colors depending on colors of document, etc. having errors.
The film 2 is made narrower than the base tape 1 and coated at the center of the base -tape 1. Accordingly, there exist the margins 3 of constant width on both sides of the base tape 1.
This margin portion 3 is mainly for protecting documents etc. from a ball-point pen, etc. so that the documents, etc. are no-t soiled by a ball-point pen moved out of the base tape when the base tape is rubbed by means of a ball-point pen, etc. to transprint and coat the film.
~ - 2 -Z~36 It is desirable to put the graduation ~ on the margin to decide the tape length -to be used and exac-tly grasp the deleting portion.
The tape and ~ilm widths and the margin width are selectable.
Similarly to adhesive tapes, the transprinting-type error correction tape is generally reeled and stored in a tape dispenser. When using, you draw out the necessary leng-th of the tape from the tape dispenser. The conven-tional tape dispensers with well-known structures can be employed.
The present invention is comprised of the above-mentioned features. Accordingly, tapes can be effectively used and the positions to be deleted can be also grasped exact~ . In addition, you need not manufacture and prepare many kinds of -tapes.
