Abstract
Abstract The subject of the invention is a method of making prismatic containers without lateral ears and with planar gable surfaces as closure ends for a continuously supplied tube of flexible material filled completely with a liquid substance, the lateral zones connected to the transverse sealing strip being transverse flattening members. This avoids the formation of ugly projecting ears at the closure surfaces.

Claims (2)
1. A method of making prismatic containers without lateral ears, with closure surfaces in the form of engaging gable surfaces and with transverse sealing strip from a continuously supplied tube of flexible material filled completely with a liq-uid substance, in which the lateral zones connected to the trans-verse sealing strip are pushed to the interior of the tube prior to the engagement by transverse flattening members.
2. A method according to claim 1, in which the lateral zones pushed to the interior of the tube are brought beneath the gable surfaces and the sealing strip.
