La présente invention concerne des cOmDositiOnS de bitumes-poly-mères applicables à la réalisation de liants routiers.
L'addition de polymères a des bitumes en vue d'améliorer la cohé-sivité et l'adhésivité des liants routiers est déj~ connue. Ainsi le brevet allemand n 1.644.771 décrit une composition comprenant jusqu'à 95 ~0 en poids d'asphalte aromatique de pétrole et au moins i ~ en poids d'un copolymere d'éthylène et d'ester acrylique ou mé~hacrylique comprenant de 10 à 40 % en poids d 7 ester.
L'amélioration des performances des liants routiers, er. particu-lier l'amélioration de leurs propriétés de cohésivité et d'adhésivité, est une préoccupation constante de l'industrie des travaux routiers et corstitue le but de lz présente invention.
Les campositions selon l'invention comprennent :
(A) de 95 ~ 99 ~ en poids de bitumes/goudrons et (B) de 1 ~ 5 ~ en poids d'un terpolymère ayant un indice de fluidité compris entre 5 et 50 dg/mn et comprenant :
- de 88 ~ 98,7 ~ en moles de motifs dérivés de l'éthylène, - de 1 a 10 ~ en md~ès de motifs dérivés d'au moins un ester choisi pa~mi les acrylates et méthacrylates d'aikyle, ledit groupe alkyle ayant de 1 à 6 atones de carbone, et - de 0,3 à 3 ~ en moles de motlfs dérivés de l'anhydride maléique.
Les bitumes/goudrons utilisables dans les compositions selon l'invention sont soik des bi~umes soit des mélanges dlau moins 50 ~ en poids de bitumes et d'au plus 50 ~ en poids de goudrons, ay_nt une pseudo-visco sité à aOC, déterminée selon la norme NFT-66005, comprise entre en~-iron 200 et lOOO secondes.
Les terpolymères utilisables ~?nS les oompositions selon l'inven-tion ont été décrits dæns le brevet ~rançais n 2.498.609. Leur indice de polydis~ersité Mw,~n est généralement supérieur à 6. Leur te~pérature Vic?t aO est comprise entre 30~C (~ortes teneurs en comoncmères) et 35C ~faibles teneurs). Facultativement ils peuvent comprendre un quatri~me monomère copolymérisable avec les trois premiers ; ce quatrième monomère peut Qtre choisi parni les ~-olefines ayant de 3 ~ 8 atomes de carbone, les monoma-léates d'alkyle et les maléates de dialkyle dont les groupes alkyle ont de l à 6 atomes de carbor.e, l'acétate de vinyle, le monoxyde de carbone, et peut être présent ~ raison de jusqu'à ~ ~ en moles, la proportion de lléthy-lène dans le tétrapolymère étant alors diminuée d'aut~nt par rapport ~ la gamme indiqu~e ci-dessus.

~LZ 2 ~i~7~5 Les performances des compositions décrites ci-dessus sont encore améliorées par l'addition, pour 100 parties en poids de ladite composition, de jusqu'à 1 partie d'un agent de modification ou de réticulation thermoré-versible tel qu'un alcool lourd, une mono , di- ou trialcoolamine ou bien S un alcool polyfonctionnel. On peut citer, entre aut:res, l'alcool benzylique comme exemple d'alcool lourd, la monoéthanolamine e~ la diéthanol~mine comme exemples alcool-amines, l'éthylèneglycol et ]e pentaerythritol co~,me exem~les d'alcools polyfon~tionnels utilisables conformément à la présente invention.
Les compositions selon l'invention possèdent des propriétés phy-siques remarquables, notamment un point de fragilité ~ou point de Fraass) mesuré selon la norme IP 80/53 inférieur ou égal à -23C. Ces propriétés expliquent leur aptitude à l'obtention de liants routiers d'excellente qua lité. Ces compositions sont en effet applicables notamment ~ la réalisation d'enduits routiers superficiels, liants fondus sur lesquels on dépose des gravillons.
Les exemples ci-après sont donnés à titre illustratif et non limi-tatif de la présente invention.
EXEMPLES 1 à ~
On considère un mélange ~A1) constitué de 60 ~O en poids de bitume et de 40 % en poids de goudron, ayant une pseudo-viscosité ~ 30C (selon la norme NFT-66005) egale à 400 secondes.
On considère d'autre part un terpolymère (B1) comprenant 90,5 ~O
en moles de motifs dérivés de l'éthylène, 8,5 ~O en moles de motifs dérivés de llacrylate d'éthyle et 1,0 ~ en moles de motifs dérivés de l'anhydride maléique. Ce terpolymère a un indice de fluidité (mesure selon ASTM D
12~8-73) de 38 dg/mn, un indice de polydispersite Mw~Mn égal à 19 et une masse volumique égale à 0,948 g/cm3.
On réalis-, par mélange homogène, des com~ositions comprenant X ~ du terpolymère ~Bi) et ~100-X) ~ du mélange (A1). Des cc~positions ainsi obtenues on mesure d'une part la pseudo-viscosité à 30C ~selon la norme NFT-66005) et d'autre part le point de fragilité (selon la norme IP 80/53) exprimé en degrés Celsius.
Les compositions ainsi que les propriétés mesu¢ees sont indiquees dans le tableau I ci-dessous.
Ces compositions sont utilisables pour la réalisation d'enduits routiers.

On considare un terpolymère (B2) co~prenant 96,7 % en moles de motifs dérivés de l'éthylène, 2,~ % en moles de motifs dérivés de l'acrylate d~éthyle et I ~ en moles de mntifs dérivés de l'anhydride maléique. Ce terpolymère a un indice de fluidité (mesuré selon ASTM D 1238-73) de 6,4 dg/mn~ un indice de polydispersité ~h~/Mn égal à 7,4 et une te~pérature Vicat égale ~ 73C.
On a réalisé ~ paTtir de 3 ~ en poids du terpolymère B et de 97 ~ en poids d'un mélange A1 une composition présentant de bonnes propriétés pcur la réalisakion d'enduits routiers. The present invention relates to cOmDositiOnS of bitumens-poly-mothers applicable to the production of road binders.
The addition of polymers to bitumens in order to improve the cohesion sivity and adhesiveness of road binders is already known ~. Improving the performance of road binders, er. particularly linking the improvement of their cohesiveness and adhesiveness properties, is a constant concern of the road works industry and the object of the present invention.
The camps according to the invention include:
(A) 95 ~ 99 ~ by weight of bitumen / tar and (B) 1 ~ 5 ~ by weight of a terpolymer having a melt index between 5 and 50 dg / min and including:

The compositions according to the invention have physical properties.

These properties explain their ability to obtain excellent quality road binders lity. These compositions are in fact applicable in particular ~ the production of surface road coatings, molten binders on which are deposited gravel.
The examples below are given by way of illustration and are not limited to tative of the present invention.
EXAMPLES 1 to ~
We consider a mixture ~ A1) consisting of 60 ~ O by weight of bitumen and 40% by weight of tar, having a pseudo-viscosity ~ 30C (according to NFT-66005) is 400 seconds.
We also consider a terpolymer (B1) comprising 90.5 ~ O
in moles of units derived from ethylene, 8.5 ~ O in moles of units derived of ethyl acrylate and 1.0 ~ in moles of units derived from anhydride maleic. This terpolymer has a melt index (measurement according to ASTM D

We realize, by homogeneous mixing, com ~ ositions comprising X ~ of the terpolymer ~ Bi) and ~ 100-X) ~ of the mixture (A1). This terpolymer has a melt flow index (measured according to ASTM D 1238-73) of 6.4 dg / min ~ a polydispersity index ~ h ~ / Mn equal to 7.4 and a temperature Vicat equal ~ 73C.
~ 3 ~ by weight of terpolymer B and 97 ~ by weight of a mixture A1, a composition having good properties for the realization of road coatings.
