La présente invention a pour objet un perfectionnement pour bâton de hockey de type conventionnel, comprenant un manche droit à l'une des extrémi-tés duquel est montée a angle une pale ~e pour le contrôle et le lancement d'une rondelle.
Dans le domaine particulier du hockey, tous les bâtons utilisés presentement sont pourvus d'un manche complète-ment rectiligne. Habituellement, le joueur tient son bâton en plaçant une main a l'extrémité supérieure du manche et l'autre main sensiblement au centre de ce dernier. Lorsque le joueur tenant ainsi son bâton est en possession de la rondelle et doit travailler avec la palette de son baton en contact sur la glace, son poignet qui est le plus élevé travaille en contorsion, ce qui bien entendu diminue de façon substantielle la force avec laquelle le joueur utilise son baton. Inconsciemment, a cause de la mauvaise position de son poignet, le joueur qui ne possede pas la rondelle patine habi-tuellement avec son baton passablement soulevé de la glace. De plus, le manche étant droit, plus le joueur tente d'éloigner le baton du corps pour travailler d'une main, plus il lui est difficile de le controler. Enfin, en dehors de toute considération de jeu, il est connu que l'utilisation d'un manche droit provoque une usure et une perEoration plus rapide du cuir du gant.
Pour permettre au joueur de mieux tenir son baton, divers dispositifs plus ou moins adequats ont dejà eté proposés, tels que ceux décri-ts, par exemple, dans les brevets des Etats-~nis 1.564.125 de 1925; 1.687.736 de 1928 et 4.052.059 de 1977, ou dans le brevet canadien 273.438 de 1928. Si les divers dispositifs décrits dans ces brevets permettent en général au joueur de mieux controler leur baton et surtout d'éviter de l'échapper, aucun d'entre eux ne résout le probleme morphologique précédemment indiqué.
La présente invention a donc pour objet un baton de hockey de type perfectionne, qui permet de remédier à l'ensemble - 1- ~., des inconvenients ci-dessus mentionnes, inclus en partlculier l'inconvenient dû a un mauvais positionnement morphologique des poignets.
La presente invention a egalement pour objet un baton de hockey de type perfectionné qui, grâce à sa structure, permet d'avoir un meilleur controle de la rondelle et un meilleur lancer.
Enfin, la presente invention a pour autre objet un baton de hockey de type perfectionne qui, de par sa structure, permet de reduire les risques de perforation des gants.
Le baton de hockey perfectionne selon l'invention comprend, comme tout bâton de hockey, un manche rectiligne prolonge a une extremite par une palette montee a angle.
Ce bâton est toutefois perfectionne en ce qu'il comprend en outre un mancheron monte egalement a angle a l'autre extremite du manche de façonà permettre au poigne-t du joueur de travailler dans une position morphologique adequate à l'effort.
Selon un mode de realis,ation prefere de l'invention, le mancheron s'etend dans le meme plan que le manche et la pa-lette dans une direction opposee mais de preference parallèle àcelle-ci. Grâce ~ sa dispositlon, le joueur est assuré de pouvoir rapprocher davantage son baton de la glace et controle au mieux la rondelle sans effort de poignet.
Avantageusement, le mancheron peut etre monte de façon rigide sur le manche par un assemblage du type tenon et mortaise. Toutefois, tout autre moyen d'assemblage pourrait être utilise, pourvu que le mancheron soit fixe solidement au manche pour deriver celui-ci lorsque besoin est.

The subject of the present invention is an improvement for conventional hockey stick, including a straight handle at one end which is mounted at an angle a blade ~ e for checking and launching a washer.
In the particular field of hockey, all sticks currently used have a full handle-straight. Usually the player holds his stick placing one hand at the upper end of the handle and the other hand substantially in the center of the latter. When the player thus holding his stick is in possession of the puck and must work with the palette of his stick in contact on the ice, his wrist which is the highest works in contortion, which of course substantially decreases the strength with which the player uses his stick. Unconsciously, because of the wrong position of his wrist, the player who does not usually have the washer patina with its stick fairly lifted from the ice. In addition, the handle being straight, the more the player tries to move the stick away from the body the more difficult it is to work with one hand control. Finally, apart from all game considerations, it is known that the use of a straight sleeve causes faster wear and perforation of the glove leather.
To allow the player to better hold his stick, various more or less adequate devices have already been proposed, such than those described, for example, in United States patents 1,564,125 from 1925; 1,687,736 from 1928 and 4,052,059 from 1977, or in Canadian patent 273,438 of 1928. If the various devices described in these patents generally allow the player to better control their stick and especially to avoid to escape it, none of them solve the problem morphological previously indicated.
The present invention therefore relates to a stick of perfect type hockey, which helps fix the whole - 1- ~., above mentioned disadvantages, included in particular the inconvenience due to poor morphological positioning wrists.
The present invention also relates to a advanced type hockey stick which, thanks to its structure, allows better control of the washer and best throw.
Finally, the subject of the present invention is a advanced hockey stick which, by its structure, reduces the risk of puncturing gloves.
The hockey stick perfected according to the invention includes, like any hockey stick, a straight handle extended at one end by a pallet mounted at an angle.
This stick is however perfected in that it includes in addition, a handle also rises at an angle at the other end the handle to allow the player's grip to work in a morphological position suitable for the effort.
According to an embodiment, preferred ation of the invention, the handle extends in the same plane as the handle and the lette in an opposite direction but preferably parallel to it. Thanks to his dispositlon, the player is assured of ability to move stick closer to ice and control at best the washer without wrist effort.
Advantageously, the handlebar can be mounted so rigid on the handle by a tenon type assembly and mortise. However, any other means of assembly could be used, provided the handle is securely attached to the sleeve to derive it when needed.

Le bâton de hockey perfectionné 1 illustrë sur la figure 1 comprend, comme tout bâton de hockey, un manche rectiligne 3 prolongé a son extrémité inférieure par une palette montée à angle. Cctte palette qui peut être plane ou courbée ainsi que la façon dont elle est montée à l'extremité
du manche ne seront pas dccr;tes davantage ici puisque ceci fait partie de l'état de la technique.
Selon l'invention, le bâton de hockey 1 est avantageusement équipé d'un mancheron 7 de courte longueur, tel que par exemple, de 12 à 15 cm, qui est avantageusement fixe de façon riyide à l'autre extremite du manche de façon à
permettre au poignet du joueur de travailler dans une position morphologique adequate à l'effort.

pouvant aller de 5 à 50~ selon les preferences (voir angles Tel que precédemment indiqué, la présence du manch~ron 7 a l'extremité superieure du bâton 1 donne a ce dernier un profile qui permet au poignet du joueur de travailler dans une position morphologique adéquate a l'effort. Ceci permet au joueur d'avoir un meilleur contrôle de la rondelle et donc un meilleur lancer. Cette nouvelle position du poignet du joueur permet de réduire les blessures puisque les os et les muscles ne travaillent plus en contorsion.
Cette nouvelle position du poignet permet également au joueur de rapprocher davantage son bâton de la glace et de tenir une meilleure extension du bras lorsque le joueur -travaille d'une main pour capter une passe trop a l'avant ou pour faire perdre la rondelle a l'adversaire. En outre, la prise sur le man-cheron permet avantageusement de diminuer l'usure et la perforation du gant qui ne manque pas de survenir lorsque le joueur tient dars son gant l'extrémitc droite d'un bâton de hockey de type conventionnel.

The advanced hockey stick 1 shown on the figure 1 includes, like any hockey stick, a handle straight 3 extended at its lower end by a pallet mounted at an angle. In addition, the plug on the man-cheron advantageously reduces wear and perforation of the glove which does not fail to occur when the player is holding the right end of a stick in his glove conventional hockey.
