La figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un cylindre d'entraînement réalise selon l'invention;

: ~ 6 ~ Z87 The present invention relates to a cylinder to which different components can be attached working health such as pushers, cutting tools ~ ixed or rotary, attachments, stops, various heads, etc.
In some automatic machines of size quite important, some components are called to be moved in back and forth movements continuous and in fairly limited spaces. The displacement cementing of these pieces is usually done by means of pneumatic, hydraulic or other cylinders. The com-posed moved by the rod of these cylinders is usually in the extension of the connecting rod, its displacement therefore extending in the axis of displacement of the connecting rod. However, precautions must be taken to ensure that these trips are made in a very precise way in order to avoid any jamming bielIe in the cylinder, which happens quite often when the e ~ strong do not act in the axis of the c ~ lindre.
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a cylinder intended to allow a displacement of the component in a plane parallel to the displacement plane connecting rod; the cylinder is so constructed so that ef ~ orts other ~ U ~! those exercised in the axis of displacement of the rod will be transmitted to the body of the cylinder rather than a connecting rod.
The present invention therefore relates to a cylinder training including: an elongated rigid body comprising, an interior chamber closed at its ends moths; a guide fixed inside the divided chamber "
this in two compartments; a connecting rod, supported -by the guide, is intended to move longitudinally-lying in the bedroom, the opposite ends of the rod etan ~ respectively housed in each of compartments; the rod comprises, in an e ~ tremité, a piston located in a first compartment and, at the other end, a tate in a second compartment ~ .`, ~ ~.

~ 642 ~ 7 is lying; an entry and an exit are planned in the first compartment to allow access of a fluid for displacement of the piston; the rigid body has an opening in the second compartment longitudinal and a training finger fixed to the head of the connecting rod, extends outside the rigid body to across this opening so that a move-piston will cause a longitudinal displacement of the finger outside the body, said longitu-dinal being parallel to that of the piston.
According to an embodiment of the invention, a slide is fixed to the drive finger which can be move in a practical groove on the outer wall the rigid body; the slide is therefore carried by the cylinder.
The drive cylinder according to this invention therefore allows the part which is associated and moved by the connecting rod to bear on the cylinder, the forces exerted on the piston being transmitted to the cylinder itself which is fixed to the frame of the machine on which it is mounted.
Other features and benefits of the invention will emerge from the description which goes follow an embodiment of a driven cylinder ment, made by referring to the accompanying drawings on which:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a drive cylinder produced according to the invention;
Figure 2 is a sectional view along the axis longitudinal of the cylinder illustrated in Figure 1; and Figure 3 is a sectional view along the line 3-3 of figure 2.
Referring to Figures 1, 2 and 3, a cylinder drive 12 according to the invention is illustrated and first comprises an elongated cylindrical rigid body 14 with an interior chamber closed at its ends -~ L ~ L6 ~
opposite mites 13 and 15. A guide 16 divides this chamber in two compartments ~ s 18 and 20, sealed one of the other, and serves as a support for a connecting rod 22 which crosses and extends into each of the two compartments.
The guide 16 is held in place in the chamber of the cylindrical body 14 by means of pressure screws including two are shown at 24 and 26.
In the first compartment 18, delimited by the internal wall of the cylinder, the guide 16 and the tip 13, a piston 28 is securely housed at the end of the connecting rod 22 and can slide on the internal wall of this compartment. In compartment 20, delimited by the inner wall of the cylinder, the guide 16 and the tip 15, a head 30 is mounted on the other end of the connecting rod 22 and can slide on the inner wall of this second compartment.
In compartment 18, two openings 32 and 34 are provided at each end to allow access and discharge of a fluid ~ inside and outside outside of compartment 18 for moving the piston. This re ~ so the pressure exerted by a fluid or compressed air and transmits a thrust with the rod.
A training finger 36 is fixed ~ the head 30 of the connecting rod; the drive finger extends to the outside of the cylinder through a long opening gitudinal 38 practiced in the wall of the cylinder. In this region, on the outer wall of the cylinder, is prati ~ uée a groove 40 whose geometric shape corresponds to that of the base of a slide 42 fixed drive finger 36. A screw 44 fixes the slide on the finger and the latter at the head 30 of the connecting rod Exhibit 46 schematically represents the different components that can be attached to the slide 42 and which will be moved longitudinally and parallel-Lement to the axis of movement of the connecting rod 22. The piece ~ `J
~ `
, ~ l169LZ87 46 has a hole 47 for receiving a screw fixat ~ on 48.
- The end 13 of the cylinder comprises a cushion 49 fixed to the cylinder by means of a socket 50; the face interior of the cushion comprises a recess 51, the shape allows to receive the nut 52 used to retain the piston on the connecting rod. Tip 15 also includes a cushion 54 retained on the cylinder by means of a part 55 and of an arrangement of screw watches at 56, 57, 58.
To operate the cylinder, a pressure is exerted on one of the faces of the piston 28 by a fluid or compressed air, which transmits a thrust ~ the connecting rod 22. This transmits to the head 30 the thrust piston. Guide 16 of the connecting rod prevents any deflection thereof when subjected to the thrust of the piston.
So, can we see that, by this invention, the weight and the efforts exerted by the room ~ to move 46 are absorbed by the cylinder and, more particularly, on the groove 40 as well as on the inner wall of the ~ second compartment 20 where the head 30 is supported.
