Abstract

The said industrial design consists the shape and configuration of a casting nozzle as shown in the drawings; the casting nozzle a pair of opposed generally identical mirror imaged flow splitter portions; each flow splitter portion has upwardly converging and inwardly converging tapered side surfaces which merge into smooth curved inner surfaces; outer edges of the side surfaces merge into laterally extending triangular generally flat areas which extend most of the height of the flow splitter portions.The portions of the drawings in stippled lines do not form part of the design.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a top plan view of the casting nozzle;Fig. 2 is a side elevation view thereof; andFig. 3 is an enlarged side elevation view of the flow splitter portions of the casting nozzle of Fig. 2;Fig. 4 is a side elevation view of the casting nozzle rotated slightly relative to Fig. 2; andFig. 5 is an enlarged side elevation view of the flow splitter portions of the casting nozzle of Fig. 4.Diagrams of the design are included.
