Description
The present invention patent "OCULAR OPTICS MODULE" aims at a module consisting of a functional eye plus a slide holder for use in teaching ophthalmology. Thus, contributing to the study and better understanding of the ophthalmic mechanisms existing in the human eye.
As is well known to those skilled in the field of ophthalmology, there is currently no functional eye model that simulates all functions of accommodation, pupillary diaphragm alteration, object approach or retraction, eye movement and lens or eye diameter change, allowing the simulation of the imaging mechanism, the demonstration of refractive eye errors and the training of corrective lens prescription.
In view of the limitations and shortcomings set forth above and for the purpose of overcoming them, the present patent "EYE OPTICAL MODULE" was developed which provides a didactic, functional eye module and slide holder that allow the "real-time" observation of the effects of various physiological mechanisms (such as accommodation, pupillary contraction and convergence) on projected image quality and retinal location and size, and enables the simulation of the lens prescription mechanism corrective Also, they allow "real time" observation of phenomena such as the "prismatic effect of the lens" and the vertex distance of corrective lenses on retinal imaging. The present invention patent, "EYE OPTICAL MODULE" may be better understood by the following detailed description, in accordance with the accompanying drawings, wherein: FIGURE 1 is a perspective view of the invention; FIGURE 2 shows another perspective view of the invention; FIGURE 3 shows an exploded perspective view of the invention; FIGURE 4 shows another exploded perspective view of the invention.
According to the illustrations presented and their details, more particularly figures 1 to 4, the present patent, "EYE OPTICAL MODULE" is of the type preferably made of plastic, silicone, metal as shown in attached figures. The present invention is characterized by the fact that it has a module composed of a base axis (1) which supports a slide holder (2), which holds slides (3), and a functional eye that supports a support (4). which communicates with a guide (5) that fits into a rear screen (9), said guide (5) further communicates with an anterior spherical frame (6), which has a mold for fitting corneal modifiable lenses ( 8), and further, said anterior spherical framework (6) meets a posterior spherical framework (7) which has a retina (10). The cornea modifiable lens fitting mold (8) has a diaphragm mechanism to simulate the pupil.
Therefore, after what has been presented and illustrated in this report, variations in shape, size, function, materials, and modes of presentation, which are apparent or equivalent to the "EYE OPTICAL MODULE" subject matter of this patent, should be included in this description. Thus, for all that has been described, it is understood that the present invention fits within the rules governing the Invention Patent, and must fill an important gap in the market, deserving for this reason, and as a consequence, the respective privilege. .
