Abstract

processo para produção de hidrogênio gasoso a partir da fragmentação molecular da água. a invenção ora descrita propõe um processo eficiente de produção de hidrogênio molecular gasoso (h2) em escala industrial, a partir da utilização de um oxidróxido de ferro, preferencialmente o õ-feooh, como fotocatalisador heterogéneo sólido. o aspecto inovador da tecnologia consiste na produção de hidrogênio molecular gasoso a partir de um processo químico em que a reação fotocatalítica é ativada por radiação de luz visível. o rendimento final é comparável àqueles em que se utilizam outros semicondutores sob luz uitravioleta, conforme processos descritos na literatura técnico-científica. o hidrogênio obtido pelo processo proposto pode ser utilizado para qualquer aplicação tecnológica, industrial, agrícola ou de controle/monitoramento ambiental, como, por exemplo, substância precursora para produzir energia (i) por queima direta, em (ii) células/pilhas a combustível ou (iii) via reações de produção de combustível liquido (como pela reação fisher-tropsch) ou (iv) em qualquer aplicação em que o hidrogênio (h2) seja empregado, como em processos de hidrogenação ou que envolvam redução química.process for producing hydrogen gas from the molecular fragmentation of water. the invention just described proposes an efficient process for the production of molecular hydrogen gas (h2) on an industrial scale, from the use of an iron oxydroxide, preferably õ-feooh, as a solid heterogeneous photocatalyst. the innovative aspect of the technology consists in the production of molecular hydrogen gas using a chemical process in which the photocatalytic reaction is activated by visible light radiation. the final yield is comparable to those in which other semiconductors are used under uitraviolet light, according to processes described in the technical-scientific literature. the hydrogen obtained by the proposed process can be used for any technological, industrial, agricultural or environmental control / monitoring application, such as, for example, a precursor substance to produce energy (i) by direct burning, in (ii) fuel cells / cells or (iii) via liquid fuel production reactions (as by the fisher-tropsch reaction) or (iv) in any application in which hydrogen (h2) is used, such as in hydrogenation processes or involving chemical reduction.
