Abstract

MÉTODO E APARELHO PARA DETECTAR UMA FAIXA DE FREQUÊNCIA E MODO DE OPERAÇÃO. É revelado um método e aparelho para detectar uma faixa de frequência e modo de operação utilizando amostragem recursiva e estreitamento. O método compreende amostrar (215) por um dispositivo de comunicação sem fio de multi-modos, um espectro de frequência operacional amplo em uma primeira taxa de amostragem para produzir um primeiro conjunto de amostras de sinais discretas. A seguir, o dispositivo de comunicação sem fio compara (230, 240) pelo menos um dos gráficos de energia do primeiro conjunto de amostras de sinais discretas com pelo menos uma assinatura específica de protocolo para confirmar (245), se um casamento aproximado é encontrado. Quando um ou mais casamentos aproximados são encontrados, o dispositivo de comunicação sem fio estreita (250) o espectro de frequência ampla em um conjunto reduzido de faixas(s) de frequência que correspondem a(s) assinatura (s) específica(s) de protocolo casado(s).
