Abstract

CONFIRMAçãO DE FORMAS DE ONDA DE MìDIA ENTRE PONTOS TERMINAIS DE TELECOMUNICAçãO. São revelados um aparelho e método que permitem que um ponto terminal de telecomunicação assegure que um segundo ponto terminal está recebendo as transmissões de fluxo de pacote do primeiro ponto terminal com uma qualidade de forma de onda satisfatória. Quando o segundo ponto terminal recebe o fluxo de pacote, ele decodifica a forma de onda de mídia do fluxo, codifica a forma de onda de volta em um segundo fluxo de pacote, e transmite parte ou a totalidade dos pacotes no segundo fluxo de volta para o primeiro ponto terminal. O primeiro ponto terminal então decodifica a forma de onda recebida no segundo fluxo e a compara com a forma de onda original transmitida para o segundo ponto terminal. Com base na comparação, o primeiro ponto terminal ajusta o valor de uma indicação de qualidade, e fornece a indicação de qualidade para seu usuário e para o segundo ponto terminal. Como vantagem, o usuário no segundo ponto terminal é capaz de determinar se a forma de onda recebida é, de fato, suficientemente próxima da forma de onda que o usuário do primeiro ponto terminal pretendeu que fosse recebida e compreendida.
