A label protector comprising a generally transparent plate having an outer section with a generally linear groove in the median region of the plate; an inner section with a front half face and a rear half face; and wherein the front half face and the rear half face are foldable to form an internal region between the front half face and the rear half face; an adhesive cover with a lower side, an upper side and a removable protective film, wherein the lower side adheres to at least part of the generally transparent inner plate section; and the removable protective film covers the outside; so that after removing the removable protective film it is possible to position a label over at least part of the inner section and fold the front half and back half to a fixed position enclosing the inner region between the front half and the half posterior face.

A process for manufacturing a label protector comprising laminating the underside of an adhesive cover over the inner section of a generally transparent blade, wherein the adhesive cover has a removable protective film over the upper side of the adhesive cover; pre-cut a set of grooves in the outer section of the translucent blade and in the same step cut the blade into separate plates so that each groove is essentially in the middle region of each plate.

A process for manufacturing a label protector according to claim 10, wherein the adhesive cover is a double-sided adhesive tape.
