Abstract

COMPOSIçãO DE óLEO LUBRIFICANTE, MéTODO DE REDUçãO DE DEPóSITOS EM UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA, E, USO DE UMA COMPOSIçãO DE óLEO LUBRIFICANTE. A lubricating oil composition comprising base lubricating oil, one or more anti-wear additives and one or more poly (hydroxy carboxylic acid) amide salt derivatives preparable by the reaction of an amine and a poly (hydroxy carboxylic acid) of wherein Y is a hydrogen or an optionally substituted hydrocarbyl group, A is an optionally substituted divalent hydrocarbyl group and n is from 1 to 100, preferably from 1 to 10, with an acid or quaternizing agent; and a method of reducing deposits in an internal combustion engine, which method comprises lubricating said internal combustion engine with said lubricating oil composition.
