Abstract
DISJUNTOR DE CIRCUITO PARA FALHA DE ARCO DE UM CIRCUITO ELéTRICO, METODO PARA HABILITAR OU DESABILITAR UMA PROTEçãO A ARCO EM SéRIE DE UM CIRCUITO ELéTRICO. Um disjuntor de circuito para falha de arco inclui um terminal de linha, um terminal de carga, contatos separáveis, conectados eletricamente entre o terminal de linha e o terminal de carga, e um sensor de corrente, estruturado de modo a sensorear a corrente associada à carga que flui entre o terminal de linha e o terminal de carga através dos contatos separáveis. A corrente sensoreada inclui uma pluralidade de ciclos de linha. Um circuito de detecção de falha de arco sendo estruturado para prover uma proteção a arco em série e gerar um sinal de abertura reativo à corrente sensoreada a partir do sensor de corrente. O circuito de detecção de falha de arco coleta uma pluralidade de amostras da corrente sensoreada nos ciclos de linha determina um único transiente de corrente associado à energização da carga e reativamente inibe a proteção a arco em série. Um mecanismo de operação é estruturado de modo a abrir os contatos separáveis, em resposta a um sinal de abertura.
