OBTURADOR. A presente invenção refere-se a um obturador para controlar o fluxo de metal fundido de um vaso metalúrgico similar a uma panela intermediária. Quaisquer referências feitas daqui por diante, com relação ao desenho, construção e/ou função do obturador, refere-se à posição de uso típica de tal obturador, isto é, uma posição orientada na vertical.
