Abstract

liga austenítica homogênea à base de ferro com boa resistência à corrosão e ao desgaste. uma liga austenitica à base de ferro de alto carbono, para aplicações resistentes ao desgaste e à corrosão, é desenvolvida para aplicações de inserto de sede de válvula, em que é requerida resistência à corrosão. a liga compreende: a) cerca de 1,8 a cerca de 3,5% em peso de carbono; b) cerca de 12 a cerca de 24% em peso de cromo; c) cerca de 0,5 a cerca de 4% em peso de silício; d) cerca de 12 a cerca de 25% em peso de níquel; e) cerca de 2 a cerca de 16% em peso de tungstênio e molibdênio combinados; f) cerca de 0,05 a cerca de 4% em peso de nióbio e vanádio combinados; g) cerca de 0 a cerca de 1% em peso de titânio; h) cerca de 0,01 a cerca de 0,2% em peso de alumínio; i) cerca de 0,05 a cerca de 3% em peso de cobre; j) menos do que cerca de 1,5% em peso de manganês; k) pelo menos 40% em peso de ferro.
