Abstract
APARELHO PARA MISTURAçãO DE UM MEIO LìQUIDO EM UM MEIO GASOSO. A presente invenção se refere a um aparelho para misturar meio líquido em um meio gasoso fluindo através de uma tubulação de exaustão (10) a partir de um motor decombustão interna, O meio líquido é suprido para a tubulação de exaustão (10) com fluxo de massa variado por intermédio de um bocal injetor (11) direcionado para a tubulação de exaustão (10). A tubulação de exaustão (10) possui um misturador (16) colocado à jusante do bocal injetor (11) e um caminho de fluxo (18) disposto paralelo com o misturador (16) e se estendendo através de uma superfície perfurada (19). Em concordância com a presente invenção, o referido aparelho está caracterizado pelo fato de que a superfície perfurada (19) é constituída por uma porção em parte perfurada (19) da parede (12) da tubulação de exaustão (10) e de que as perfurações (19) a montante do misturador (16) possuem uma área que está entre cerca de 0,5 vez - 3,0 vezes a área de seção transversal da tubulação de exaustão (10) e de que o misturador (16) é constituído por uma placa (16) inserida na tubulação de exaustão (10).Apparatus for mixing a liquid medium in a gaseous medium. The present invention relates to an apparatus for mixing liquid medium into a gaseous medium flowing through an exhaust pipe (10) from an internal combustion engine. The liquid medium is supplied to the exhaust stream (10) varying mass through an injector nozzle (11) directed to the exhaust pipe (10). The exhaust pipe (10) has a mixer (16) placed downstream of the nozzle (11) and a flow path (18) disposed parallel to the mixer (16) and extending through a perforated surface (19). In accordance with the present invention, said apparatus is characterized in that the perforated surface (19) consists of a partially perforated portion (19) of the exhaust pipe wall (12) and that the perforations (19) upstream of the mixer (16) have an area which is between about 0.5 times - 3.0 times the cross-sectional area of the exhaust pipe (10) and of which the mixer (16) consists of a plate (16) inserted into the exhaust pipe (10).
