Abstract

SENSOR DE UMIDADE DE FREQUÊNCIA ULTRA-BAIXA. Um aparelho para medir um valor de teor de umidade dentro de um volume. Um gerador de freqúência gera pelo menos um sinal de fonte em freqúências não superiores a aproximadamente um quilohertz. Sondas são dispostas com as superfícies em contato físico com o volume, onde nenhuma corrente direta flui entre as sondas através do volume. Uma das sondas é conectada eletricamente ao gerador de freqúência como uma sonda de fonte, e adaptada para receber o sinal de fonte e emitir o sinal de fonte para o volume, desse modo criando um campo elétrico tendo características que são dependentes pelo menos em parte de um teor de umidade do volume. Outra das sondas opera como uma sonda receptora para detectar o campo elétrico e produzir 10 um sinal de saída tendo uma propriedade de saída que é dependente pelo menos em parte do sinal de fonte e do teor de umidade dentro do volume. São providos meios para produzir um valor de teor de umidade para o volume, onde o valor de teor de umidade se baseia pelo menos em parte na propriedade de saída do sinal de saída.
