Abstract
MÉTODO PARA VEDAR UM ESPAÇO ANULAR FORMADO ENTRE UM ELEMENTO TUBULAR EXPANSÍVEL DISPOSTO EM UM FURO DE POÇO E UMA PAREDE QUE CIRCUNDA O ELEMENTO TUBULAR EXPANSÍVEL. É previsto um método para vedar um espaço anular (7) entre um elemento tubular expansível (6) arranjado em um furo de poço, e uma parede que circunda o elemento tubular expansível, pelo que, uma diferença de pressão ocorre entre uma primeira localização no espaço anular e uma segunda localização no espaço anular axialmente espaçada da primeira localização. O método compreende: instalar o elemento tubular (6) no furo de poço; localizar um corpo de fluido (10) no espaço anular (7) entre ditas primeira e segunda localizações, dito fluido tendo uma resistência a escoamento selecionada de tal modo que dita diferença de pressão seja insuficiente para induzir escoamento axial do corpo de fluido no espaço anular (7) depois de expansão radial do elemento tubular (5) e expandir radialmente o elemento tubular (6).Method for sealing an annular space formed between an expandable pipe element disposed in a well and a wall surrounding the expandable pipe element. A method is provided for sealing an annular space (7) between an expandable tubular member (6) arranged in a wellbore, and a wall surrounding the expandable tubular member, whereby a pressure difference occurs between a first location in the well. annular space and a second location in the axially spaced annular space of the first location. The method comprises: installing the tubular element (6) in the wellbore; locating a fluid body (10) in the annular space (7) between said first and second locations, said fluid having a selected flow resistance such that said pressure difference is insufficient to induce axial flow of the fluid body in the annular space (7) after radially expanding the tubular member (5) and radially expanding the tubular member (6).
