Abstract
APARELHO DE CONVERSçO DE FREQUÊNCIA. Uma arquitetura e protocolo permitem comunicações de sinais entre um módulo de conversão de freqúência (20) e uma pluralidade de decodificadores (60) em um local. De acordo com uma modalidade exemplar, o módulo de conversão de freqúência (20) inclui uma pluralidade de entradas (22) operativas para receber uma pluralidade de bandas de sinais de televisão. Uma pluralidade de sintonizadores (24) é conecta- da às entradas (22) . Os sintonizadores (24) convertem as bandas de sinais de televisão em uma pluralidade de freqúências intermediárias. Um controlador ~ é operativo para receber comandos de solicitação para as bandas de sinais de televisão a partir dos decodificadores (60) . Cada um dos de- codificadores (60) transmite um dos comandos de solicitação para o módulo de conversão de freqúência (20) durante uma partição de tempo separada.
