Abstract

MéTODO DE TRANSMITIR DADOS DE MULTI-DIFUSãO ASSOCIADOS COM UM SERVIçO DE MULTI-DIFUSãO, E, REDE SEM FIO CONFIGURADA PARA TRANSMITIR DADOS DE MULTI-DIFUSãO ASSOCIADOS COM UM SERVIçO DE MULTI-DIFUSãO. O método e aparelho descrito aqui capacita uma estação móvel a assinar um largo número de serviços de multi-difusão fornecidos por uma rede sem fio convencional. De acordo com uma modalidade, a rede estabelece uma sessao de comunicação de multi-difusão e aloca um NSAPI para a sessão de comunicação durante uma fase de transferência de dados. Subseqúentemente, a rede transmite os dados de multi-difusão durante a sessão de comunicação estabelecida. De acordo com uma outra modalidade exemplar, a rede inclui dois espaços de valor não sobrepostos, onde um dos espaços de valor é reservado para NSAPIs de multi-difusão. Nesta modalidade, a rede recebe um NSAPI selecionado pela estação móvel durante a fase de união, proveniente desses espaços de valores. Durante a fase de transmissão de dados, a rede estabelece uma sessão de comunicação de multidifusão baseada no NSAPI selecionado, e transmite os correspondentes dados de multi-difusão durante a sessão de comunicação.
