Abstract

Coprocessador de acesso a pacotes por link inferior em alta velocidade para upgrade das capacidades de hospedeiro modem existente. Unidade de transmissão e recepção sem fio (WTRU) para o processamento de sinais de múltiplo acesso por divisão de códigos (CDMA). A WTRU inclui hospedeiro modem e coprocessador de acesso a pacotes por link inferior em alta velocidade (HSDPA), que se comunica por uma série de interfaces customizáveis. O hospedeiro modem opera conforme padrões da Versão 4 (R4) do projeto de parceria de terceira geração (3GPP) e o coprocessador HSDPA aumenta as capacidades de comunicação sem fio da WTRU como um todo, de tal forma que a WTRU opere conforme padrões da Versão 5 (R5) do 3GPP.
