Abstract

EXPRESSãO DE PROTEìNA TRANSIENTE BIOLOGICAMENTE SEGURA EM PLANTAS. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para produzir uma proteína de interesse pela expressão da referida proteína de interesse de uma seqüência de interesse em uma planta ou em folhas de planta, compreendendo: a) a transfecção da referida planta ou das referidas folhas da planta pela infiltração da referida planta ou das referidas folhas da planta com uma cepa de Agrobacterium na presença de um fator de complementaridade, a referida copa de Agrobacterium contendo no T-DNA uma seqüência de DNA heteróloga com uma porção da seqüência codificando um replicon, em que a referida seqüência codificante de um replicon contém seqüências necessárias para a função de replicon do referido replicon, as referidas seqüências sendo derivadas de um vírus de planta, e a referida seqüência de interesse ser expressa, b) o isolamento opcional da referida proteína da referida planta ou das referidas folhas de planta infiltradas na etapa (a), em que a referida cepa de Agrobacterium é fornecida com uma primeira modificação genética conferindo à referida cepa de Agrobacterium defeito para transferir organismos com o referido T-DNA na ausência do referido fator de complementaridade.
