Abstract

SISTEMA DE TANQUE DE COMBUSTìVEL. Energias elétricas inseguras podem existir em tanques de combustível de aeronave como um resultado de formação estática ou correntes induzidas dos impactos de raio. A invenção proporciona um tanque de combustível de aeronave 1 incluindo dois trajetos de descarga (18-21-5 & 18-20-15-16-17-12) para descarga segura de eletricidade do tanque 1 antes de alcançar níveis em que um arco, faísca ou outra descarga elétrica capaz de inflamar o combustível no tanque pudesse ocorrer. A falha de ambos trajetos de descarga (18-21-5 & 18-20-15-16-17-12) aumentaria significativamente o risco de uma ignição causando a ocorrência de descarga elétrica. O tanque 1 assim também inclui um circuito 11 para monitorar a integridade de cada trajeto de descarga. Por ter pelo menos dois trajetos de descarga (18-21-5 & 18-20-15-16-17-12), se um dos trajetos de descarga falhar ( cuja falha sendo detectada pelo circuito de monitoração 11), pelo menos um trajeto de descarga alternativo existe para a descarga segura de energia elétrica do tanque de combustível 1, até o trajeto de descarna falho ser reparado.
