Abstract
PROCESSO DE COQUEIFICAçãO RETARDADA. Uma destilação a vácuo modificada e processo de coqueificação retardada para preparação de coque de fluxo substancialmente livre, de preferência, coque granular de fluxo substancialmente livre. Usa-se uma carga de alimentação de resíduo a vácuo que contém menos de 10 % em peso de material que ebule entre 900<198>F e 1040<198>F (de 482,22<198>C a 560<198>C) conforme determinado por meio de HTSD (Destilação Simulada com Alta Temperatura). O uso de um resíduo com alto ponto de ebulição do tipo referido favorece a formação de coque granular em lugar de coque-esponja ou coque de transição. O reciclo do destilado reduz o potencial de formação de incrustações da carga de alimentação mais pesada no forno de coque.DELAYED COOKING PROCESS. A modified vacuum distillation and delayed coking process for preparing substantially free flowing coke, preferably substantially free flowing granular coke. A vacuum waste feedstock containing less than 10% by weight of material that boils between 900 <F> and 1040 <F> (from 482.22 <198> C to 560 <198> C is used). ) as determined by HTSD (High Temperature Simulated Distillation). The use of a high boiling residue of the above type favors the formation of granular coke rather than sponge coke or transition coke. Recycling the distillate reduces the scale-forming potential of the heavier coke oven feed load.
