Abstract
PENETRÈMETRO ESFéRICO PARA MEDIR IN SITU àS PROPRIEDADES DO SOLO MACIO E MéTODO PARA MEDIR IN SITU àS PROPRIEDADES DO SOLO MACIO Trata-se de uma sonda de penetrómetro esférico para medir in situ as propriedades do solo macio, particularmente no leito marinho, que compreende um corpo esférico e um conjunto de eixo reduzido, e quer individualmente quer combinada, uma luva de antifricção que encerra o eixo e/ou um anel poroso periférico sobre o corpo esférico com passagens internas de conexão através da montagem esférica, sendo que o eixo é adaptado para fixação em um módulo transdutor eletrónico. O penetrómetro esférico é distribuído para penetrar no leito do solo, a fim de efetuar contínuas medições das forças de mancal no solo, as quais resistem à penetração e à retirada da esfera, e medir, opcionalmente, a pressão neutra da água no solo que fica em contato com a esfera e transmitir os dados de medição provenientes da sonda para uma estação de operação remota, seja por meios sem fio, tais como um transdutor acústico, seja por meio de uma conexão elétrica cabeada.
