FIO DE VIDRO, COMPóSITO DE FIOS DE VIDRO E DE MATERIAL(IS) ORGáNICO(S) E /OU INORGáNICO(S), GUARNIçãO PARA SISTEMAS DE ESCAPAMENTO, COMPOSIçãO DE VIDRO E PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO DE FIOS DE VIDRO A invenção refere-se a fios de vidro de reforço cuja composição compreende os seguintes constituintes, nos limites definidos abaixo expresso em porcentagens ponderais: SiO~ 2~ 59 a 63%, AL~ 2~O~ 3~ 10 a 16%, CaO 16 a 23%, MgO 0 a 3,2%, Na~ 2~O + K~ 2~O + Li~ 2~O 0 a 2%, TiO~ 2~ 0 a 1%, B~ 2~O~ 3~ 0,1 a 1,8%, Li~ 2~O 0 a 0,5%, ZnO 0 a 0,4%, MnO 0 a 1%, F 0 a 0,5%. Esses fios apresentam propriedades melhoradas em termos de resistência mecânica, de resistência em meio ácido, de resistência às temperaturas elevadas para uma composição de baixo custo. Ela refere-se igualmente a um processo de preparação dos ditos fios e a composição que permite sua elaboração.
