Abstract
MéTODOE EQUIPAMENTO PARA ENVIO DE SINALIZAçãO PARA SERVIçOS DE MULTICAST E BORADCAST A sinalização para cada serviço de multicast/broadcast é mensagens de page ou alerta de grupo em partições PCH atribuídas aos dispositivos sem fio e/ou partições PCH designadas para uso para o servoço. Cada mensagem de page de grupo contém um indentificador para um serviço. As partições PCH designadas para diferentes serviços podem ser sobrepostas para reduzir o número de vezes em que os dispositivos sem fio se ativar para receber mensagens de page, ou escalonadas para reduzir colisão entre os serviços. Os dispositivos sem fio podem ser informados sobre uma mensagem de page de grupo sendo enviada através do PCH um dado serviço pelo uso de indicadores de alerta que são atribuídos aos dispositivos sem fio e/ou indicadores de broadcast que são atribuídos ao serviço. Os indicadores de paging podem ser enviados em partições QPCH atribuídas aos dispositivos sem fio e/ou partições QPCH designadas para uso para o serviço. Os bits Bi são enviados atavés das partições QPCH designadas.
