Abstract

EQUIPAMENTO E MÉTODO PARA O PROCESSAMENTO DE UM SINAL MULTICANAIS. O equipamento para o processamento de um sinal multicanais inclui um meio (12) para a determinação de uma similaridade entre um primeiro de dois canais e um segundo dos dois canais. Além disso, é provido o meio (16) para uma realização de uma filtração de predição dos coeficientes espectrais, que é formado para realizar uma filtração de predição com somente um único filtro de predição (16a) para ambos canais no caso de alta similaridade entre o primeiro e o segundo canais, e para realizar uma filtração de predição com dois filtros de predição em separado (16b) no caso de uma dissimilaridade entre o primeiro e o segundo canais. Com isso, são evitadas uma introdução de problemas estéreo e uma deterioração do ganho de codificação nas técnicas de codificação estéreo.
